Question 1

How do I contact SageTech Solutions?

Accepted Answer

Call 251-802-1442 or request a service through our contact page. We serve condominiums, coastal properties and commercial buildings across the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast and respond within one business day.

Question 2

What kind of buildings do you inspect?

Accepted Answer

Any structure where the data helps. That includes condominiums and high-rise residential, hotels and hospitality, offices and retail, warehouses and industrial facilities, plus homes, marinas and coastal infrastructure across the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast. We also support engineers and property managers on smaller investigations.

Question 3

Who do you typically work with?

Accepted Answer

Structural engineers, general contractors, POA managers and property managers. We are frequently engaged directly by a board or management company and coordinate with the engineer of record so findings translate into a defined scope of work.

Question 4

What does aerial thermal imaging actually detect?

Accepted Answer

Trapped moisture, missing or wet insulation, stucco delamination, air leakage paths, roof membrane saturation, and electrical hotspots. Anything that creates a measurable temperature delta on a surface — typically 0.5°C or more — shows up clearly in radiometric IR.

Question 5

Do we need to evacuate residents during the inspection?

Accepted Answer

No. Aerial scans require no balcony access and produce no noise inside units. Ground-based concrete scanning is non-destructive — no drilling, no dust, no resident disruption.

Question 6

Are you FAA certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All flights are conducted by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot, with proper airspace authorization, insurance coverage, and pre-flight weather verification.

Question 7

How long does a full building inspection take?

Accepted Answer

A typical 20 story building can be aerially scanned in 6–8 hours under acceptable weather. Concrete scanning and water testing are scoped per area of interest. Reports are delivered within 7–14 business days.

Question 8

What deliverables do we receive?

Accepted Answer

Annotated, geo-referenced thermal imagery, anomaly maps cross-referenced to floor plans (if available), severity ratings, a written engineering-grade narrative, and raw radiometric files, photos or video format to your structural engineer of record.

Question 9

Can your reports be used for Florida milestone (SIRS) inspections?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our visual, thermal, and concrete documentation is designed to support Florida Statute 553.899 milestone inspections and Structural Integrity Reserve Studies. Final structural sign-off remains with the licensed SEOR.

Question 10

What about salt corrosion and rebar inside balcony slabs?

Accepted Answer

This is a coastal specialty. Thermal imaging often reveals delamination from corroded rebar; concrete scanning with GPR then maps the exact reinforcement location, cover depth, and extent of deterioration before any invasive repair.

Question 11

Do you handle pre-purchase due diligence?

Accepted Answer

Yes — for buyers, lenders, and acquisition teams. We can quietly survey an entire envelope before close and flag the issues a walk-through never finds.

Question 12

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Use the contact form with the property address, the symptom you're seeing (if any), and your timeline. We respond within one business day with a proposed scope and quote.
